The Blind Man.

Many times I wonder what its like to be blind, unable to see the beauty of the creator, the wonderful cities that are crowded with people, the beautiful water bodies, hill tops, mountains and so many things. unable to see the food that he eats, to see his toes, to see the color brown and red....and above all, he's unable to see how he looks like in the mirror.

On the streets he stands and sings aloud, with a metallic bowl for coins on the ground. He sings with his coarse voice hoping to make some money just to have a meal for the night. Everyday he gets up early to sing for the so called "busy humans" who never pay attention to his job, not even a coin. To them, he is nothing, he is invisible, he is worthless.

When I look intensely at all these humans, some are tense because of not unpaid salaries, some have deadlines to meet, for some, their marriages are failing, some are just uncertain about where to go or where to start in life but for this blind man, he doesnot care about all that, he just wants a meal for the night. His life is not burdensome like all these other people, deep down in his soul.......he sings because he's content about his life, for this is all part of God's unrevealed plan.

A life of contentment is all we need to be able to see life like the blind man. We might not be physically blind today or forever but we need to choose to be content in our Father.
