God in his eternal plan has chosen a people for himself. His choice is made evident in the Holy Spirit call to sinners and those who respond. We can take comfort in the truth that those he has chosen, he has called and that those he has called he will sanctify.
" But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, bretheren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth." ( 2 Thessalonians 2 v 13).
"who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus
Thank you Lord, that you have chosen me to be set apart for your purposes. Thank you, that this places me within your plans and purposes and that now there are now no unimportant days in my life. Give me the grace to show you purposes for my life to all those around me.
